“I recently visited the Lux spa, and I had the most amazing experience. First of all the spot is located at the gorgeous SLS Lux in Brickell. The staff met me and allowed my daughter and I whose birthday we were celebrating to enjoy the rooftop pool and have a glass of champagne prior to our treatments. It was such a special occasion And a wonderful memory. My daughter had a massage and she said the therapist was experienced and skilled. I had an anti-aging facial with Alan and I literally looked 10 years younger when he was finished. He has a wide array of high-tech equipment, everything from hydro facial machines to collagen. not only was the facial, relaxing, but he worked the fascia and helped to re-sculpt my face. I walked out with glass skin that still looks incredible even after almost one week. If anyone is in the area of Brickell, I would definitely suggest booking a facial with him and also taking advantage of the other therapists at the spa. “BEST MASSAGE AND FACIALS!!!
LUX Med spa is one of the best spas that I have ever been to. The spa’s atmosphere was soothing and relaxing and the fragrance was simply heavenly without being overwhelming or overpowering. I wish I could bottle up the scent and take it home. I was greeted by the owner, Alan Araujo. Charming, welcoming and has a lovely personality, lovely man!!! He was friendly and welcoming and made you feel at ease while inviting you to paradise. He described and suggested the treatments that was available and would best suit you. He is a master facialist and skin rejuvenist, using the most advanced, cutting edge technology in both equipment and skincare methods to help you get younger, firmer and more supple skin for a better you. He also has a machine (I forgot the name) to help tighten the skin on your flabby belly so you’ll have less of a muffin top. He likened it as doing a thousand crunches without actually putting in the work but getting the same results. Amazing, right? It would be perfect for women who just had a baby as they need help in that area. (Of course, this would need clearance from your doctor). My masseuse, Rey, had the most amazing hands. After discussing the pressure and problem areas, I received a full body massage while he also concentrated on areas that needed more work. He helped me get rid of the knots in my neck, shoulders and low back which is my problem areas that tends to spasm out because I have poor posture and I’m constantly hunched over at my desk. Afterwards, I didn’t want to move. I just wanted to fall asleep on the table in that room, cocooned in their luxurious linens. With the dim lighting, flickering candles and aromatherapy, how can you not? It was the most relaxed I’ve ever been and knew I had a big ole smile on my face - I was a well satisfied customer. I wanted to take him home with me lol and even joked with Alan that I would. Alan also introduced me to the pool area and the secret garden - both a beautiful and calming atmosphere where you could swim, sun, read a book, finish up your work in a stress free environment or just veg out until you’re ready to go home. You could spend the whole day there!!! Just treat yourself to a facial and/or a massage and relax in its calming and tropical backyard. It’s like a mini vacation spot in the heart of Brickell.
